Is there a covered area or space for a tent? If not, consider renting one just in case. Communication is everything when it comes to weather changes. Your vendors are pros, and chances are they've worked through a rainy day or two before. Here's what to cover:

Venue – Ask about rain options: tents, covered patios, or moving indoors.

Photographers/Videographers: How will they protect their gear? Do they have experience capturing beautiful rainy-day shots?

Florist – Will your arrangements be okay in the rain? Should anything be swapped or protected?

Caterers – Can food service be moved indoors or under cover quickly?

Hair & Makeup Artists – Waterproof makeup and hairstyles that hold up in humidity or rain are key. Consider scheduling time for a few touch-ups.

3. Hacks and Must-Haves

A little preparation goes a long way when the forecast calls for showers.

Clear umbrellas – Buy or rent a few for you and your wedding party. They keep you dry and add a romantic, dreamy look to your photos!
