For Randi and Boaz, a wedding filled with colours that was true to their personal style was important. “We chose hunter green, grey, white, gold and soft pink,” the two share. “We also chose textures like velvet and lace to tie into the vintage feel of our venue at The Great Hall.”

A big highlight of the day came in the form of Boaz’­ late grandfather’s tallit, a prayer shawl, that was brought over form Israel for the couple to be married under. “This was the covering on our chuppah. It was very special for us to have this significant garment and a piece of Boaz’s grandfather with us as we got married,” Randi explains. In addition, black and white photos of their family were included in the centrepieces. “Some of the gold picture frames were also passed down from family members, which perfectly tied in with our theme of the wedding,” the two smile.

For their pre-pandemic wedding there were 115 guests in attendance, Randi and Boaz marked their newlywed status with an Hora, a traditional dance performed at Jewish weddings where the couple is lifted into the air. “It was a very special moment for us, we were so happy and could feel the energy and love in the room when the dance cam together,” the two recall. “We ended up having three horas throughout the night, and each one was more insane than the last.”
